Troll Expeditions started with the endeavors of its founder. The inspiration for the name came from the mythological creatures of Icelandic folklore: the Trolls. Icelandic trolls live in the mountains and are, contrary to popular belief, kind and welcoming of visitors. Troll Expeditions began with one guide, one bus and little by little it grew to become our great Team Troll. Our journey continued and was fueled by the passion and hard work of young professionals that love and cherish Icelandic nature. Team Troll is now comprised of more than 70 staff members from Iceland and all over the world. All members of Team Troll have one thing in common: passion for adventure travel in Iceland.
