Our Britain and Ireland Experience (15 day) was a well organized and very competently managed trip. Our tour guide Anthony was very knowledgeable, caring, hard working, he wanted all of us to enjoy the sights and put in the extra effort to meet that goal, when our itinerary had to be changed due to unforeseen circumstances ( ferry delay) he quickly adjusted our schedule so we would be in the right place at the right time, our Driver, David, drove us safely through busy cities and on very small roads with skill and competency and worked diligently moving all our suitcases on and off the bus , this was not just a bus trip but a very enjoyable and memorable vacation definitely made so by our tour guide and driver, we’ll done! We will book with Costsaver again when it it’s time for next trip. Ron and Elisabeth

Tour Director Jason H and Driver Stephanie were real pros, On top of everything, knowledgeable, and likable. Tour covered a lot of miles each day in order to touch all the highlights.

The director was good - he shared lots of relevant facts about the areas visited. We saw some lovely towns - big and small. The food choices were a bit repetitive. More variety and fruits/veggies would have been appreciated. More free time would have been nice on some of the stops. Treacys hotel was not good nor were the older rooms at the ibis Earls ct.

Hello, We have just returned from the UK, we thoroughly enjoyed our tour and excursions, except for the last day in Edinburgh were on the morning of 24th Aug we went to the dinning room with our tour group to find no breakfast, and no porter to help with our luggage, we were drop off at the train station were our tour guide left us at the top of the train station and we were told to make our own way to the platform with all our luggage and no assistance. After fining the correct train there was no assistance what so ever to board the train, and being a bank holiday in the UK the trains were absolutely jam packed a very uncomfortable ride and very disappointed and very hot. Once arriving back into London, we need to unload our own luggage, and had find the Cosmos tour guide ourselves, she was un certain of where to go and what to do due to the public holiday as the pickup point had changed, we had to drag our luggage down some stairs in 32 degree heat, a homeless man luckily assisted us to get down the stairs, there were a couple of elderly gents who were very distressed as you can understand, very unprofessionally organised. We had a wonderful trip but the last day spoiled our vacation, and the 14 other passengers on the tour who were also on the train agreed this should have been better organised knowing it was a public holiday in the UK

My first Insight Tour and it was amazing. Scenic tour of the beautiful countryside, towns, and historic sites of England, Scotland, Wales, and Republic of Ireland. Our Travel Director, Greg, was very professional, knowledgeable of the history, culture, food, music, and local 'celebrities'. Greg and our driver (Arthur - the best) worked together as a team, making our trip enjoyable, memorable, and fun. Always courteous, respectful, and conscientious of our time, safety, and well-being. Good job!

Once on the trip it was good. The communication prior to getting there left something to be desired. (We were bumped out at one point and until I called was told there was nothing to be done, which caused a great deal of anxiety.) The tour director, Chris was incredibly knowledgeable and seemed enthusiastic about most subjects. The hotels were all good and beds (except one very soft one) were fairly comfortable. The add-ons, which I did all of were good except the last 2 were very slow meal service and the last one- farewell dinner was not great. But overall good food, (if a bit the same every time.) Since my friend and I had never been on a tour (booking all the ad-ons) may have been too much. We were exhausted and a few days prior to the end were wishing it was over. The packing up suitcases daily (or a couple of times 2 days) was also tiring and daunting since we've always traveled to a single destination and would only pack up the last day. The driver was very good. Probably next time I'll do a single destination and explore from there.

What can I say about a last minute trip of a lifetime! We had the best guide, James Smith, and best driver, Paul. They were organised and professional, calm and skilful at dealing with a bunch of strange personalities; witty and insightful, sharing their life experiences with us; advising and guiding us with the history and the memories of home. Even missing my pickup point, I did not panic or worry. I’m sure James was shocked at receiving a call from Australia. Lucky for me, he picked up! Good to have a backup plan. Ireland and Scotland were everything I wished for. I loved all of it- the driving, excursions, free time, sightseeing, foods, local people, ancient and modern history, Dublin, Belfast, Glasgow, Donegal, Londonderry, Ring of Kerry, Giants Causeway, wall of Remembrance, Good Friday Peace agreement. I learnt about habits, customs, whiskey and shortbread, music, culture, accents and people, Celtic and Viking influences, symbolism and the importance of change and structure affecting our lives. Love the quirkiness too - The idea of Guinness offering a pint of beer for your blood donation is hilarious, doing your exams in Gaelga gives you a 20% advantage; museums and most event places have no entry fees. NB - (1) ensure all travellers have contact details, only for emergency use (updated as to country and location). (2) We would have loved to have a photo with our guide and driver. They were an important part of our experience! A Most enjoyable and memorable Trafalgar trip. I loved the little aside-jaunts and I loved the way James and Paul worked at keeping the journey interesting, well paced, stress less and fun. Highly commended!

Tour was fabulous...hit many highlights on our bucket list for these 4 countries. Pace was good...tiring but necessary to cover the miles. Would travel again with Travalgar.

My husband & I enjoyed our tour with the group . Our personalities somehow click with all of us agreeing to the fun times . Even with our difficulty of walking slow compared with the rest of them , they manage to help us ease our difficulty in catching up with them .
