The Best of Britain & Ireland
The Best of Britain & IrelandI realized that booking through TourRadar for a Cosmos tour was probably a bad decision. There were a number of things Tour Radar left off or did not offer to those who booked straight through Cosmos. My questions is this...why did we not get the same advantages that other Cosmos direct tour members did? Why did I pay a premium when I did not get the concierge-level service? In theory, I should have gotten a level above-and-beyond those who just booked with Cosmos but I did not even get the basics. I am thoroughly disappointed with the Tour Radar aspect of the tour arrangements and that was so fairly obvious to others who booked through Cosmos. No luggage tags, no travel book, no extra information. You had the tour guide wrong, the rooms were not as requested. The Cosmos tour guide was your saving grace. She was fantastic but she works for Cosmos. If I had to do it all again, I would book direct through Cosmos. Also, the Tour Bus was substandard compared to other Cosmos tour buses we saw on our trip. No tray tables, no usb chargers, and the wifi was non-existent. That is more Cosmos than you but I am still disappointed. Driver was great...bus was too full and lacked basic functionality.

Best of UK & IrelandWe enjoyed the tour very much!! Ailenn and ashley did an excellent job keeping the tour group of 51 people informed of times and events. Everyday was packed full of things to see and do. We fill maybe there was to much down time in some areas to walk around-could have been alittle shorter so we could get to our housing for the night alittle sooner. We were alittle disappointed that they showed no highlights of the city of london. We saw them on our own

England, Scotland and Ireland end Dublin
England, Scotland and Ireland end DublinOur tour was London, Glasgow, Belfast, Dublin, Liverpool, London. This was a bi-lingual tour with emphasis on Spanish - we are bi-lingual so not that much of a bother but non-Spanish speaking tourists would likely not enjoy this aspect. The English of the guides varied widely with the London guide Richard being beautifully fluent and knowledgeable in both languages. It's important to understand you will have multiple guides. We walked an average of 7 miles a day and covered nearly 1,500 miles by luxury coach. This kind of travel can be exhausting if you are not prepared. The first two days the buses arrived 2 hours late due to the Rail Strike in London. Now for the upside: The tour guides were great and kept everything on-task. They knew the areas pretty well and they were accommodating despite their challenged English. The hotels were way better than expected and included excellent breakfasts with lots of options - I would say 3.5 to 4.0 stars. Yes UK hotels can be quirky - like you might not have a huge bed and the shower faucet make take some time to figure out but they were excellently located. I cannot say enough about the general courtesy and service of the UK citizens - they generally put the USA to shame. From servers to museum guides everyone seemed genuinely happy to be working and accommodating of tourists. The food everywhere we went was great and well priced -- more affordable than expected. Still hard to find Coke on ice though! haha. The tour itself was comprehensive and the stops were breathtaking. The two ferry trips were a blast -- these are really mini-cruise ships. We came home exhausted but completely satisfied. We saw attractions we would have never seen like Alnwick and Caerfornan castles on our own that were incredible. Being able to stop in Liverpool was a real highlight and we paid on our own to do the Beatles sites and it was well worth it. (So was the Beatles museum). We would likely use Europamundo again, even if it was bi-lingual because they were so efficient and a great value.

10-Day Ultimate Ireland Small Group TourWe just finished an outstanding 10-day Ultimate Ireland Small Group Tour with our exceptional guide, Finn! We selected this tour as it had, for us, the right combination of the highlights of Ireland and varied activities, it included both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, and it was a small group tour. This tour absolutely exceeded our already high expectations! The itinerary proved to be excellent, but a lot of the credit for the success of the tour has to go to Finn. Like any good teacher, he is truly passionate about his country and sharing all it has to offer! He shared his knowledge and love of Irish history, literature, culture, sports and music throughout the tour which added so much depth and color to our adventure. Finn is competent, personable, patient, funny, and flexible — to name a few of his many virtues. He proved to be an excellent driver as we traversed many winding, narrow and challenging roads! He kept us on schedule, made modifications when needed, and provided us with a smooth running tour and a once in a lifetime experience for our group! We highly recommend Finn and the 10-day Ultimate Ireland Small Group Tour! We made new friends and enjoyed a lot of fun and laughter along the way!!

Taste of Scotland & Ireland - 10 Days/9 NightsOverall, the trip was terrific. The driver/tour guide, Joe, was excellent. He has a vast knowledge of the areas we visited, is very caring and competent, and made me feel safe as a solo traveler. He also has a great sense of humor. Some of the issues/changes I have identified are: 1) Cliffs of Moher stop was about an hour too long. We could have checked in at our hotel instead to rest up for the donner/show at the castle. 2) Grand Canal Cruise food was not that good. 3) Some days were quite long with a lot of bus time. Not sure what could be done about that. 4) Some hotel stays were just 1 night. Would prefer 2-night minimum to avoid constant packing and unpacking.

Very nice itinerary ... jam packed days and evenings. I chose not to do any of the extra evening excursions that were offered so I was able to use the time to explore every overnight stop on my own. The tour guide was amazing... so full of knowledge about all the countries/areas we visited.

Mostly really good! Tour director was knowledgeable and very good at handling details. Coach driver was excellent. A memorable experience for sure!
- Britain and Ireland Highlights (10 Days)
Very professional company. This tour is more suited for older individuals who don’t like walking around much. I took my 21-year-old and 13-year-old. The long hours spent on the bus was too much for them. They said the tour was “cool@, but not what they considered “fun”.
