I ran into problems of airport transportation on the day of return. Most of hotels in U.S. provides shuttle services to and from airports. But in UK, we have to make arrangements for it before the trip. The difference should have been emphasized. The available options should have been provided.

Essential Britain & IrelandI’ve just returned from this fabulous tour! I highly recommend it. We had the greatest tour guide and bus driver. The itinerary was fascinating . You read about the itinerary before you go, but the reality of the itinerary far exceeded my expectation! We were blessed with great weather, too. We only had misty rain on two of the 10 days. I would probably change one of the hotels and one if the meals, but of those were fine. Others were just better! The excursions were great. I went on four out six of them. Did our own thing the last night in London. The Park Plaza Westminster Bridge was my favorite hotel and it was strategically located!

Scenic tour of the beautiful countryside, towns, and historic sites of England, Scotland, Wales, and Republic of Ireland. Our Travel Director, Greg, was very professional, knowledgeable of the history, culture, food, music, and local 'celebrities'. Greg and our driver (Arthur - the best) worked together as a team, making our trip enjoyable, memorable, and fun. Always courteous, respectful, and conscientious of our time, safety, and well-being. Good job!

Best of Britain (14 Days)We had a wonderful tour with Greg as our guide. He was friendly, fun, knowledgeable, kept us to our timetable and interesting. We learned lots on our trip. Every time he said he was going to show us "something special" he DID! We enjoyed the little "treats" he would use sporadically, to encourage us to be on time or just for fun! There isn't one thing that Greg could have done better. 5 stars for sure.

The Travel Director was excellent, lots of knowledge of local history as well as overall in Ireland & Scotland. The Drivers were great, the Local Specialist were excellent as well. We know this going into the trip but the amount of time on the Coach was a lot. We will consider that in future trips. Overall we had an excellent experience!

Wonders of Britain and Ireland (15 Days)
Wonders of Britain and Ireland (15 Days)Once on the trip it was good. The communication prior to getting there left something to be desired. (We were bumped out at one point and until I called was told there was nothing to be done, which caused a great deal of anxiety.) The tour director, Chris was incredibly knowledgeable and seemed enthusiastic about most subjects. The hotels were all good and beds (except one very soft one) were fairly comfortable. The add-ons, which I did all of were good except the last 2 were very slow meal service and the last one- farewell dinner was not great. But overall good food, (if a bit the same every time.) Since my friend and I had never been on a tour (booking all the ad-ons) may have been too much. We were exhausted and a few days prior to the end were wishing it was over. The packing up suitcases daily (or a couple of times 2 days) was also tiring and daunting since we've always traveled to a single destination and would only pack up the last day. The driver was very good. Probably next time I'll do a single destination and explore from there.

Very nice itinerary ... jam packed days and evenings. I chose not to do any of the extra evening excursions that were offered so I was able to use the time to explore every overnight stop on my own. The tour guide was amazing... so full of knowledge about all the countries/areas we visited.
