The Labyrinth of Crete
The Labyrinth of CreteWe were picked up from Heriklion and taken to our hotel. Hotel was good, my only comment is that we would have preferred to pay a little extra and gone all inclusive as we could only have food in the evening meal which also included water that we had to pay for. However, hotel its self was very good and plenty of shops to look at on the road. Bus stop just opposite hotel took you to Heraklion for about E3. All Tours picked up from the hotel as specified. boat trip and lunch was good. Trip to knossos was very informative and ticket was also valid for the museum in Heraklion, which we visited in the afternoon. The safari trip was fantastic. Jason our guide was funny and knowledgable. We learnt a lot about the villages in the mountains, saw the sunken village, visited a goat herder and watched cheese being made then tried them with raki. Amazing Day especially travelling on the roads up the mountains. Very good value for money.

Greek Island Hopper (10 Days)The tour was quite a good mix of organised and leisure time, but the last day could have been managed better. We arrived at Oia about half an hour before sunset, had no direction as to where to see the sunset from, and no time to experience this beautiful town. Very dissapointed in that.

Sail Greece: Santorini to MykonosWe had a great time meeting lots of new friends who all got on from many nationalities. At a restaurant one evening another group asked if we were a family which is how we ended up but without the disputes! Our skipper, Rita displayed wonderful leadership & sailing skills telling many interesting stories. Twice we has difficult dockings in strong crosswinds & other boats were messing it up big time but Rita nailed it both times & I was informed she received applause at Mykonos from the people on the dock. She also spent lot of time producing a video of our trip that she gave to us all. If your other CEO’s are half as good as her you have a very good team. Sailing Greece - Mykonos to MykonosWe had a wonderful time sailing through the Greek Isles! We were able to visit several islands, including some that larger ships can't get to. Our captain, Kristina, was terrific, and she even led us to some spots where we could jump off the boat and swim to a cave, snorkel over a wreck of a World War 1 German plane, and just a random swim in the Mediterranean. G Adventures was excellent and had our back when a couple of unforeseen issues occurred. It wasn't a luxurious trip because we lived on a sailboat instead of a cruise ship, but it was a great adventure!

What people love about Greek Islands Tours in August
- The Labyrinth of Crete
Very good tour. Accommodation and day tours were great. The major problem were the transfers. Dropped off on the side of the road and told to walk approximately 500 metres to the hotel with no directions, the tour pick-up point was a 10 minute walk from the hotel and finally after waiting for our airport transfer for over an hour at the designated pick-up location had to organise a taxi ourselves. We were refunded the allocated transfer amount not the actual cost of the taxi so out of pocket as well.
- Sailing Greece - Mykonos to Santorini
Loved this sailing adventure and plan to do another one in the near future. The Captain Marius was excellent with a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of sailing and taking care of his passengers. Our group gelled well and we all had fun swimming, eating on board and going out to dinner and playing cards. I would definitely do this adventure again
- Exploring Crete
The tours were great. I really felt like I explored Crete and got my money’s worth. I did not appreciate the quality of the hotel. I upgraded to a “superior” category of hotel and the room they put me in was trash. Felt like I was sleeping on a table and the room itself was in disrepair. I talked to the tour radar rep and instead of helping me improve the situation he told me that I was told about this weeks ago and left it at that. I didn’t appreciate that at all. I ended up talking with the hotel front desk and upgraded to a better room and I was happy.
