I am so grateful to my “mountain Dad”, guide Ram, who made me feel extremely safe and welcome as a female solo traveller. Stepping out of the KTM airport had us wide eyed, we'd just learnt that our luggage hadn't made it to Nepal and we walked out into a sea of people, with sights and sounds that we have no comparison for. We were met by our tour guide Harry, who soon after had a solid plan to get our luggage to us. Harry was a problem solver from day 1, and he made travelling with our 2 kids easy by organising family rooms at accomodation, or rooms close together where he couldn't. We thoroughly appreciated this. Our team from Outfitter, was one of the highlights of our trip. Rham, our assistant guide, gave me a helping hand on a trek day that i found challenging. And all of the porters greeted us with smiles and were always quick to ask how we were doing. They accepted our boys into their circle and chatted, played games and trekked with them. Great friendships have been made. The beauty of the Annapurna mountains were the right motivation to keep us trekking "up up up" and "down down down" for the next photo opportunity. A trip to Chitwan, got us up close and personal to some big creatures, while staying in a lux hotel, with 2 wonderful local guides. Nepal, her mountains and her people have left a lasting impression on this family, and I'm sure we will be back.

'Walking Annapurna' was everything I hoped it would be - and more. The scenery was absolutely stunning, the homestays comfortable and welcoming (although very basic) and the company was great too! Be prepared to do some serious walking - your fitness levels will dictate how much you enjoy/get out of this short trek. Super rewarding though - I had an absolute ball. Highly recommended!

We had an excellent time in Langtang Valley with Adventure Himalayan Travels. The owner, Rana, collected us from the airport and gave us all the information and equipment needed, and introduced us to our guide, Battam. He organised everything; the bus to Syabrubesi, accommodation in the tea houses, meals etc. We also had a fantastic porter who was the toughest, tiniest man I've ever met! We felt very well cared for throughout the hike. A real perk of this tour is that it is private (not a group, but a personal guide and porter), at a similar price to tours which include multiple bookings. Adventure Himalayan Travels was totally flexible to our plans and wishes. Thank you Rana, Battam and Malba(?) thr porter for making our honeymoon extremely smooth and so much fun, we will remember it fondly forever!

Ghorepani Poon Hill trekking,it was a short and beautiful trekking.Our guide Pemba Sherpa was a great man who took care of foods,accommodation etc..on the trek.we stayed in good tea houses with clean room.the views from Poon Hill viewpoint were incredible. the mountains are so beautiful up there.I do recommend Rana from Adventure Himalayan Travels & treks best tour Planner''.

Outstanding service & amazing trekking experience in Himalaya with memories for a lifetime! I found Nepal Hiking Team on my pre-research on the internet. I always looking for local travel company when traveling. It’s important to me that everything is in good hands, that I can count on them in each of my requirements and that everything is organized well. Local tour providers always know their country best! When I start my mail conversation with Ganga from NHT, I had a very good feeling that this is it – this is the professional company I want to go with to Nepal! I had to change a bit my itinerary and all was perfectly accepted by NHT, exactly according to my needs, to my full satisfaction. Nepal Hiking Team were in one word excellent. 5 star service with smile. Ganga and Balaram were always very responsive and helpful via email to answer all my questions and worries regarding the trek and weather (I took Everest Panorama trek and tour to Chitwan National Park), accommodation, booking, payment. Everything was organized perfectly with no hassles and everything was transparent, with honesty and smile – from alternative way by helicopter to get to Lukla, because the bad weather didn’t allow plane landing, and in order not to lose time, to very nice and extremely patient and supportive, friendly and helpful guide Bishal who helped me with the bag during the trek in Himalaya, and took care of my accommodation and food during the trek, and above that was a great companion and friend, to private transfer to Chitwan park on really not so easy road, to transfer to and from the airport (it was a pleasant sight to see the NHT representative’s smiling face and warm welcome), to perfect choice of Kathmandu accommodation – Kathmandu Suite home hotel, which I warmly appreciated specially when I finally took a hot shower after return from the Everest trek after 6 days without proper hot shower and many many other examples.… Highly recommend. Both trips organized by NHK exceed my expectations. And I have to say I couldn't have done this all without their perfect organization.There is truth in the saying ‘it’s more about the journey than the destination’, and with the Nepal Hiking team they made my journey so much more enjoyable. Nepal is stunning Himalayan beauty, and part of than beauty is its people! Thank you all and wish you lot of satisfied clients! Namaste

This was by far one of the coolest things i've done in my entire life. Super challenging and super rewarding all at once! Madan and Rupesh were some of the greatest trek guides that I've ever had on any continent - they were so knowledgeable about the history of the trek and they ensured that we were deeply rooted in the cultural experience along the trek. They were also incredibly caring - which is important when you are trekking to new altitudes that you have never been before. They would always be asking us how we felt and if they could get us anything at all. Overall, I would recommend this company to anyone who wanted to trek to EBC - and if you want to have the best experience, try to get a trek led by Madan & Rupesh! :)
