Premium Peru
Premium PeruLoved Peru. I found the people take great pride in their cities, culture and history and it shows in how clean the streets are, how great the food is and how wonderful the guides are. Loved the wildlife, the scenery and archeological sites too. My only downside was the airport.. Delayed flights and when trying to return home, no signage to show the directions from domestic (Cusco to Lima) to international section of airport. When I asked for help, I was told to go out the door, come back in the door next to it, only to find out that I needed to go outside, go to section adjacent and then go upstairs to departures which also had no sign there for "international departures". The LATAM staff gave me the run around on my luggage. One person said it would go automatically to Newark another said pick up your luggage in Lima and transfer to United. My luggage never arrived in Lima nor in Newark. When I arrived in Newark the United people said that LATAM was lying as it is never sent on directly and had to be collected and transferred by hand in Lima. I had to file a lost baggage claim upon final arrival in Canada . Still waiting for news.

Empe our tourg uide was absolutely amazing and took us out for diner almost every night in Cusco, she showed us around and told us a lot about the Peruvian culture. She was the best! Our tour guide Vanja on the Quarry Trail and the whole crew (chefs and horesmen) did a great job! I never imaged to camp and hike in den Andes like this. It was breath-taking and I wish I could have done it a little longer. I will definitely be back and I would love to see Empe and Vanja maybe on another tour. Lots of love and a big THANK YOU, Mareike

7 Day Andean Experience Through the Living Culture of the IncasGreat destination and tour guide. Jonathan was excellent at keeping an eye on us and helping when needed. He was very knowledgeable and the group connected with him quickly. The accommodations were average as expected. The itinerary was full but not too much for eight 65+ travelers. It was well paced and in a good order to understand the Inka empire and scope. The vans and driver Ronnie were wonderful, clean, easy to access seats and luggage. The local tour operator meet and exceeded expectations. i encourage the tour company to do a lunch or experience with local restaurants. We did one which was great and likely another would be good to incorporate.

7 Day Inca Jungle Adventure To Machu Picchu with Mountain Bike, Rafting, Zip Line and Trek.What incredible trip with the Inca Jungle! Since the first moment I enjoyed a lot with the guide Waldir, he is fun and the tour was enjoyable. We started with a cultural half-day tour and the most interesting part for me was visiting the Salt Mines. The next day we continued with the adventure, and we received all equipment to do the biking and rafting activity. The homestays included were clean, and the walk thought a part of the Inca Trail was very nice. Also, I tasted a delicious coffee prepared at the moment, the zip-line activity was good, the last part we continued walking until arrive to Aguas Calientes, this is a small town surrounded by mountains and the weather is nice, here we spent the night in a hotel and next day in the morning we arrived to Machu Picchu by bus. To return we had a touristic train and the last part we returned by car to Cusco. If you want to do this tour, do not forget to bring sun cream and mainly the insect repellent because there are small mosquitoes and you do not notice when you get stung. A huge embrace to my friend Waldir and all Inkayni staff for the nice tour.
